Results of study on Canadian foundations

December 5, 2016

This year I undertook a study, which many of you took part in, on how Canadian foundations are collaborating. This is one aspect of the trend towards "strategic philanthropy" and, in my mind, towards more responsive and engaged philanthropy. You can read the report (not beautifully designed, I admit, but the content is interesting!) at the site of PhiLab, the Montreal Research Laboratory on Canadian Philanthropy.

I encourage you to sign up for news from PhiLab - it is home to Canada's first major research initiative on foundations (which is currently planning for its second phase and happy to have involvement of foundations).

I also encourage you to become subscribers to The Philanthropist. I have been involved in this initiative for the last couple of years, and the content just keeps getting better! You can receive the bi-weekly newsletter by providing your email address here: http://thephilanthropist.ca/mailing-list/

I wish you all a productive December and an energetic start to the new year!
